Birthday Success

02 September, 2001 at 05:04 PM by Ren | Permalink

Well, Birthday Success.

I got so so so so so so so drunk last night. I know that's such a horrible thing to say, that the only goal of my birthday celebrations was an orgy of drunken excess, but as i've stated earlier in my musings, I am an aspiring alcoholic. I was totally drunk last night. I had shots of Rumplemintze, tequila, several flavors of schnapps, kamikazes, and Jell-o shots. I also drank a long beach that rocked my world...and lots of Mostly rum and coke (by mostly rum and coke, I mean it was mostly rum, with a splash of coke to give it color).

Dr. Pepper never tasted better than today. God, it was so tasty. Sonic, I love your ice!

Lemme see, last night, I know I danced, but I dont' remember ever actually being on the dance floor, except when Shady Lady was singing happy birthday. That bitch didn't give me a shot either! Not that I needed one, but still, goddammit, where was my shot?! The night gets better though. And I'm going to tell you why. Turns out that all of a sudden Anna went from happy drunk, to puking drunk. Lora came by to find me, at least I think it was lora...by this point the night was all starting to run together...anyway someone informs me that Anna needed to go home. I was so pissed though! I was working trade! DAMMIT. But you know me, anything for a friend.

How we got home, I haven't a clue. I'm pretty sure I was really mad, and probably sad, cuz I had trade, but I left it at the club, cuz my one and only Anna needed me. Evidently we had BOBs from whataburger...i found the wrappers this morning.

So, all in all, good times. I haven't a clue as to how i'm going to top this next year. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

A Birthday Present!

I got a birthday present today.

Dad came to visit me, and I met Carmen. Not bad really. Funny, *and* she likes to drink. Yeah, we'll get along fine.

Anyway, Dad came to see my new apartment, and noticed the complete lack of any comfort niceties. Meaning, no couch, no furniture, no anything basically. He was a little freaked, but thought he could help out some (yeah, I was amazed too!). Well, he looked in the kitchen and noticed the complete lack of a nuclear heating device. That's microwave for you country folk. Well, we went to best buy, and I got the hookup (holla if ya' hear me); a brand new microwave oven! That so felt like I was on a game show.

I guess my Dad felt that any good bachelor pad must have a nuclear heating device to reheat such things as pizza, fried chicken, and any leftovers. Ok, so Dad doesn't cook, but I do, and reheating leftovers is a top concern.

I'm going to go shower now, we went to the beach to celebrate the coming of the nuclear heating device and now I've got sand in places you shouldn't know about.

UPDATE!I have acquired a new

UPDATE!

I have acquired a new piece of furniture!

Spurred on by the success of the Nuclear Heating Device, Tastawerk Limited's headquarters has acquired a new piece of furniture: a TV stand!

Congrats to me. I don't have to look down to my TV anymore...its all about looking up. Next up: Barstools for the counter bar!

What the Hell?

What the hell is going on here?

First off, its saturday right? It's like time to go home from the club (if I were out and about). Anyway, I'm at home spending a relaxing evening at home. It's like 3:30 in the morning, and my heavyfooted, sasquatch neighbor starts thumpin' around upstairs...for no apparent reason.

Normally, this would be none of my business. But biznatch upstairs has feet that displace more tonnage than an aircraft carrier so any step he/she makes, you can hear. This just will not do. Not really because I want them to sit down or something, but because I simply cannot figure out why someone would need to walk back and forth to their kitchen from their living room 12 times (yes I counted) at 3:00 on the morning. THE HOT POCKETS CAN WAIT UNTIL THE MORNING SASQUATCH!

By The Way: Heavyfooted, Sasquatch Neighbor (henceforth known as HSN) has now gone to the kitchen from the living room (we have the same floorplan) 16 times. GO TO BED!

Disgust

I have something to say for the 5 of you that faithfully read my website...and to those that may stumble on my site tonight. I want you to know that my thoughts are with each and every single one of those families whose lives have been or will be irrevocably altered by this tragedy. I also want everyone to know that I hope the persons responsible for this despicable act rot in hell forever. I never thought I'd say something like that, but I am. I really hope those terrorist cowards die a slow, miserable death. It's such a horrible thing to say, and by condemning someone else, I'm probably condemning myself to a similar fate...but with all the anger and sadness that I feel right now, I really don't care.

This is horrible. Our lives will never be the same again.

g'morning

Happy Birthday to Annabuggs!

Morning kids. After a week of our national nightmare, I decided it was time to start posting again. There's a new poll up (finally) and things are going well for me. I should be looking for a car this weekend. The Evil Lord Skittles (I changed his name again), that's his official title, he's just Joshua to me though...is back at home too. So my life is a little slice of normal.

I still think about all that craziness that happened last Tuesday, and it still makes me horribly sad. It's so hard to imagine that any group of people could believe that killing innocent people is exactly what any god would want. I guess they'll find out the truth when they die, won't they? Which from what I see on the TV, isn't a time too far off...

wow.

I haven't posted to the site in a while, have I? Not much to say lately. I had a few opportunities to vent; after all, this whole blogging thing is really good for therapy. I just never got around to it, and then when it was over there was really no point in going and doing it. Today is pretty much a plain and boring day. Nothing overly exciting going on. I might work on some wallpapers today woo!

It rained a lot this weekend; I didn't go looking for a new car because of it...at least that was my excuse. To be honest about the whole matter, I'm just seriously afraid of going to see the car people. They'll look at me and just like in the cartoons, I'll turn into a gigantic lollipop that says "SUCKER" on it. That will suck, no pun intended. I'll just have to get the courage up to go and do it. This weekend, I swear.

Thunderpuss rocks

Now, I have no idea if you are a fan of Dance, electronic or similar music, but I have this to say: THUNDERPUSS MAKES THE BEST MIXES. I'm not a particular fan of teen divas, but they did wonders for Mandy Moore's "In My Pocket" and just remixed the hell out of Britney Spears "I'm a Slave 4 U"...and I hate Britney. My favorite remix of theirs is Lady Marmalade. . .guaranteed to make me dance like an idiot for the duration of its play.

You should also check out "Papa's got a brand new pigbag" by them. Freakin' ROX.

Tar, I know you disapprove of my Thunderpuss fetish, but dammit, they RULE.

Weekends are fun.After feeling down

30 September, 2001 at 06:11 PM by Ren | Permalink

Weekends are fun.

After feeling down most of Friday night, I went out to a birthday party for my old roommate Jennifer. We had a blast. Me and my friend Robert even danced oldskool all night, bustin out all these moves. That was fun.

Saturday night was perfect. Mom made me feel better, thanks mom love ya!...so I went out and had a good ol' time...despite the fact that Aaron didn't bother to show up. And Bitch, I'm still concerned for you having pajamas. Also, can I have my boxers back. They're all blue and gold, and I need all my go go hoggie spirit. ANYWAY, I went out, and had a grand ol' time with Krysten, JKD, the weatherman and eric. AARON YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE.

So, today, its all about laundry and cleaning the house. The Evil Lord Skittles doesn't know how to flush...and also, he doesn't clean up after himself well. I'll let you know how that all goes.
