Wow, it won't stop raining.
02 December, 2001 at 07:52 PM by Ren | Permalink
Wow,
it won't stop raining. It feels like it's rained for like the last 3 weeks. I know that's way exaggerrated, but still. It would be so typical for rain to happen this weekend though. I got J. Roe (my car) her first oil change...I took it to the dealer, cuz they charge me the same price, BUT they wash and vaccuum the car. So you know where my punk ass was goin. It's all about gettin the free shiznit. Anyway, as soon as they washed my car, it started raining.
typical. Very freaking typical.
Some people need to have

Some people need to have their licenses revoked. Today, it was very foggy. Would you believe there were people driving with NO LIGHTS ON! How annoying is that?
I also hate people who don't signal a lane change. Bastards. You all need your licenses revoked.
Am I the only one who was slightly underwhelmed by what "IT" was? I mean, its still way cool, but I was seriously expecting a flying car or something.
I still want one though.
I took "the Art test"

I took "the Art test" to determine what kind of artwork I am. I was surprised, I think it was pretty accurate:

If I were a work of art, I would be Pablo Picasso's Three Musicians.
I am colourful and provoking, always looking to break out of the mould and to pioneer new ways of doing things. I have a jaunty outlook and although I am a bit weird, most people have some idea what I'm about.
Which work of art would you be? The Art Test
Then I took this test; it proves that I am a geek. *sigh*

Frodo Baggins
If I were a character in The Lord of the Rings, I would be Frodo, Hobbit, heir of Bilbo and humble keeper of the One Ring.
In the movie, I am played by Elijah Wood.
Who would you be?
Zovakware Lord of the Rings Testwith Perseus Web Survey Software
Finally, I took this test:

If I were a James Bond villain, I would be Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
I enjoy fluffy white cats, dropping people in piranha pools, and initiating World War III.
I am played by Donald Pleasence in You Only Live Twice.
Who would you be? James Bond Villain Personality Test
I think I might be a little bit bored! If any of you don't know what to get me for Christmas, buy me a print of that Picasso painting I am supposed to be.
Isn't it creepy though, the way Elijah Wood looks the same as he did when he was a little kid? I find it slightly unnerving.
More tests!

I'm The James Bond Villain Personality Test!
I live in a fictional world of spies and blonde women with ridiculous names, and I like to give people plenty of options. Although whether they're villainous is not optional.

Tar, this is your fault. At least you're not RPGing. ; )

While I'm a little upset about this, I do think this is funny...(its another personality test)
I am 60% British, just like
Sir Elton John
Roots in the UK, the rest of your hair is in the US.
Take the Brit Quiz at

Tar,
congrats on the new degree. You go girl.
I drank in your honor last night. And in my honor. Also in Freaky's honor. OH yeah, in my honor again too.
Do you get what I'm saying?
So I decided last week
17 December, 2001 at 06:59 PM by Ren | Permalink
So I decided last week sometime, that I wasn't going to do any more polls until the new year. Oops. I forgot to tell the 5 of you that visit my site.
I wish I was as popular as TV's Wil Wheaton! Plus, I always wanted to be on Star Trek. He's still funny though. I wanted to be a teenage ensign on the Enterprise. Lucky bastard. Oh wait, he wasn't that lucky, he was only an ensign, and he never go to wear the cool uniform...just that god awful grey thing. Yeah, so if I were on Star Trek, I'd have to be a Q and get to wear a command division uniform. Fair enough, right?
Anyway, I think I'm going to change out that picture every few days until the holidays are over. Yay fun!
Props to Miss Kiki Gio Davenport being back in Corpus. We're gonna rock the house this weekend aren't we? Also, REHI's go out to the Weatherman, who has just returned from a trip to a far off land that is substancially colder than CC.
I was busy at work today. blah blah blah...I'm going home in a few so talk to you later!
OH THANK GOD!

All is right with the world of vacuous Hollywood entertainment again. Tom Green is divorcing Drew Barrymore.
You may resume your normal business.
BORG!
18 December, 2001 at 01:16 AM by Ren | Permalink
I love TNN.
You guys rock for putting Star Trek: The Next Generation (ST:TNG) on your network. They just showed the first half of "The Best of Both Worlds." For those of you who are uninitiated into ST, this is the episode where Picard gets turned into a Borg.
It's funny to see how the Borg have evolved since then. This is really like the first episode where its revealed that the Borg "assimilate" species to their own. Basically, they take you, and turn you into one of them...where you become part of their hive mentality. It's very gripping stuff, and a pretty nasty way to live an existence.
Anyway, I can remember watching that episode for the first time and going "WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY GONNA DO!?" Man, to be 14 again.
It also makes me horribly sad to see what Star Trek: Voyager did to the Borg. Totally ruined them. They killed the Queen concept completely and just turned the Borg into useless dorkheds (I didn't misspell head, I like to spell it 'hed' when referring to a dork or a stupid, or a silly).
I already know how this episode turns out, but damn, Locutus of Borg was some cool ass shit back in the day!
Two Things:
18 December, 2001 at 10:42 AM by Ren | Permalink
1. Why do the radio stations suck anymore? Is there no good music left? Every station in corpus (oK, I know it's asking a lot for the CC radio stations to play good stuff, but dammit!) has played crap for the last few days. If they're not playing crap, they're playing the shit out of the few good songs that are out there right now. It's making me VERY VERY upset.
1(a) J. Lo: You're real, we get it. Please stop playing her song now.
2. I saw the most disturbing thing this morning. As I was driving to work (in J. Roe...not to be confused with J. Lo) I saw a litter of puppies, slaughtered on the highway. It looked like someone threw them out of the back of a truck. It was pretty gruesome. I mean, I hate my cat and stuff, but I wouldn't just throw him out on the highway. That's just evil.
Hmm...I think that's all I have to say this morning. TTYL
A Taste of Things to Come
19 December, 2001 at 09:02 PM by Ren | Permalink
For the 12 of you who read my website...a taste of things to come...
In the next few days, possibly tonight, I'll be changing the look of the site. It's organization won't change a bit; I just think this new look will work better...plus it's going to rock.
Again, the polls will return in the new year. I'll be adding some new stuff...and I may be switching hosting services soon...I really want to try out this new blogging utility, but I can't do it unless my hosts upgrade Perl, or I find someone who's cheaper and can : ) (cheaper is a good thing). This program will be cool too, you can post comments to my blogs. That rocks.
Um...Illustrator rocks. I love the tastalogo in .ai format. I can do anything with it. I have. I think from now on, I will only use the logo in flash based formats. BTW, from now on, I will be using lots of little flash dealies to use on my site.
I think that's all I have to say for now. Gonna go watch Enterprise now.
New Look

New index page is up and running.
Let me know if something goes horribly wrong. I'll be updating the rest of the site continually through the next few days.
If I don't blog again until after the 25th...Merry Christmas!
I will miss you DSL!

Well, it looks as my time in Corpus Christi is drawing to a close. No, I'm not leaving forever (and I know there are a few of you who wished I was); it's just to go up to see my mommy and daddy for christmas. Gotta pick up the presents you know.
I've gotten everyone their gifts. I'm very proud that I made it under $200 this year. I just have to wrap them.
The biggest thing that will suck while I'm gone, is I won't have DSL. Man, nothing sucks more than a slow 56k modem. *fuckityfuck*
But Eric is getting a Playstation 2, so that might keep me occupied : )
Saturday night! ROCK BALLS! Krysdol, Lalique, ReesesPieces, Tamara (hmm, no name for her yet), and Mendy were all out last night. We had UN fun time! There was hotness to be had last night too. OH yeah, lots of hotness.
I'd better go, I'm wasting valuable procrastinating time to wrap presents : )
The Evil Lord Skittles
23 December, 2001 at 04:38 PM by Ren | Permalink
My cat Joshua (The Evil Lord Skittles) is getting very very close to getting thrown out of my house. I woke up this morning to find he had pooped in the carpet in the dining area...no big deal, I figured his box was dirty. So I went to go clean it out; no poop or anything in the box...it actually smelled like fresh litter in there.
I added some litter just in case, and went to go play online. Well, just now, he goes into the dining area, in my full view, and starts to poop on the carpet! I just went all psycho on him. He's soon to be gone I think. I cannot handle my cat acting like this.
His bad temperament, and his lack of remorse towards pooping and peeing on all my possessions is just going to stop. I give him one more week; if he doesn't improve, he's gone. Flat out.
Merry Christmas

I'm fixin' to leave for San Antonio (yes, I know "fixin' to" is a Texan-ism)...I'll be back on the 27th and tell you all the horrible things my evil cat did.
Merry Christmas!
I'm BACK!

Bad Theme Music
29 December, 2001 at 11:06 PM by Ren | Permalink
I'm watching a rerun of Enterprise, the new Star Trek show. It has by far, one of the WORST theme songs I've ever heard. It sounds like the guy from the Full House theme singing. I mean come on! Science Fiction and singing rock ballad theme songs? WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING RICK BERMAN? stupidass.
I swear, they have ruined Star Trek. Thanks, Paramount!

Last night was a blast.
We went to the door for some drinks, and then to the adult video store. heehee! I've never been there before...crazy stuff they have in that store! Then we went to the closet to play darts and drink some more. FUN!
Tonight, the festivities begin at the Jungle Suite at Christy Estates . . . then the club, and me drunk. : ) The night ends again at the Jungle Suite. Yay Fun!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
