web resources
Here's a listing of some of the sites that I use to keep up-to-date on web stuff.
Colormatch Remix - mad cool color selection utility.
Lazycat.org - A neat little site with stuff on CSS and whatnot. Nice style sheets too. Pretty kitties. Check out their web design postcards.
Lorem Ipsum Generator - This is a nifty little doodad that generates Lorem Ipsum for you. You know what lorem ipsum is right? It's dummy text. It looks like latin, but it's not. It's lorem ipsum. This thing generates it for you. Lorem ipsum. Generated. For you. I got nothin' here.
dreamweaverfever - a website with some good resources on utilizing Dreamweaver MX, my preferred web editing tool.
The CSS Zen Garden - a lovely collection of web designs laid out completely with CSS. Each page uses the same HTML (no different code on any of them), and all the page layout/styling is done with an external stylesheet. How f'n cool is that?
Zeldman - Jeffrey Zeldman is this dude who is one of the prophets of web standards. His daily report is a pretty interesting link collection of issues relating to web design and web standards.
The Web Standards Project - The people responsible for converting me to the land of the table free.
