Liberty Posters

In early 2003, the university embarked on a massive replacement of it's outdated Student Information System (SIS). The system was to be replaced by a new web-based information system named Banner. A co-worker and myself were placed on the project leadership committee and charged with publicizing the conversion.
Liberty (Leap Implementation to Banner Equals a Revitalized Texas A&M-Kingsville for You) was selected as our project name. I created a logo incorporating the streamlined javelina head in red and white stripes along with stars trailing behind it for our project's visual identity as well as all our collateral materials.
The campaign has three distinct phases. The logo and it's two variants are utilized in the different phases.
Phase I began with several variations of this poster posted across the campus, handouts for faculty and staff and polo shirts for the project team members. In addition a large (24"x36") "Declaration of Liberty" based on the poster was created.
