Do any of y'all remember FunDip? That crazy, sugar, Kool-Aid-powder candy that came in a three packet package with this white candy stick that had no real flavor, but was still good to eat, that you licked and dipped into the powder? Well, pretend for a minute. That shit rocked when I was little, and the corner store down the block from my house sells it! I don't remember it being $1.09, but hey, whatcha gonna do?
This week had been viciously evil. I haven't gotten any sleep, I've had quizzes and exams, I've missed a couple of classes, and when I finally had a night of no homework and studying, I freakin' can't sleep. So I rummaged through my videos and watched the campiest, corniest sci-fi movie I have - "Night of the Comet"! That movie is a fucking classic. Not for, like, cinematic or fright factors, but for the sheer camp it invokes. The 80's hair, the 80's clothes (god!), the ridiculous dialogue, and the plot holes are too good to miss. The one-liners the main characters spout off are what make this movie, and if you don't take it too seriously, you can have a good romp. Check it out if you ever get the chance.
