Possums suck. There are two who live under my house, and they have no shame or fear in them. While I'm out on the porch, minding my own cig, these two come out screeching like banshees, fighting like Ike and Tina. I think they're in heat. Either that or they're just really horny, cuz after they kick each other's ass, they go under the house and commence to have sex all fuggin' night long. How do I now? They do it right under the floor where my own bed is. Those bastards.

I had a lot of fun this weekend. Ren, Annela, and I got to go see Blue October play in Corpus, then we all went out to Sharkey's for fun in the sun. If by sun, you mean liquor. Like, a lot of it. I don't know what I was thinking, but we got there right under the 50-cent drink special, like 3 minutes before it ended. And how dirty am I for buying 6 of 'em along with my pitcher drink? Plenty, cuz I certainly got my money's worth.

I got this awesome song from Kylie Minogue called "Butterfly" off her new CD - it's one of the bonus tracks. Wonderful, soaring vocals, good beat, very Kylie. Love it.

I laughed out loud when I was watching TV the other day. Poor Jared. In his latest Subway commercial, he's eating his Chicken Teryaki sammich, and everyone comes up to him, cuz like he's some huge star or something, and ask him what he's eating. He tells 'em, and they all get a fuckin' kick out of it. They go around, gossiping in front of him, "Oh, Jared's off his diet! Jared is off his diet! The diet Jared was on is OFF!" OK, so it's supposed to show that this sandwich is nutritious and still not like diet food, but fuck, people, gossip AWAY from the person you are ripping apart. It's just they said it with such glee and fervor, like this was big news or something. Like they were just waiting for him to fail and they were determined to be right there when it happened. It was still funny. But sad, too. Mostly funny, though.
